Naver's Initial Merchant Fees and Marketing Support Exceed 100 Billion Won
Naver announced on the 19th that it has provided a total of 106 billion KRW in funding over six years through the ‘Start All-in-One Program,’ which supports fees and marketing costs for early Smart Store entrepreneurs.
Naver’s ‘Start All-in-One Program’ is an early SME support policy operated through ‘Project Kkot,’ which began in 2016. The program’s main components include ‘Start Zero Fee,’ which supports commission fees, and ‘Growth Support Points,’ which can be used for search advertising and marketing expenses.
‘Start Zero Fee,’ launched in 2019, supports order management fees and sales-linked fees generated within Naver for six months on a net payment amount of 5 million KRW over one year. ‘Growth Support Points,’ introduced in 2017, provide search advertising and marketing cost support according to the SME’s growth stage, effectively promoting SME business growth. As of the first quarter, Naver has provided approximately 106 billion KRW in funding to SMEs through these two programs.

Through ‘Project Kkot,’ Naver is creating a model where SMEs and creators can grow together with the platform company and is diversifying related support. The ‘Smart Store Fast Settlement,’ offered since December 2020, provides 100% settlement the day after collection processing. Up to March this year, it has advanced payments worth a cumulative 21.5 trillion KRW free of charge. Among the businesses that have experienced fast settlement, 85% are micro and small businesses.
