Imsil-gun Confirms First Supplementary Budget of 567.9 Billion Won This Year... Prioritizing Residents
Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has finalized its first supplementary budget of the year at 567.9 billion KRW, focusing on stabilizing residents' lives, strengthening agricultural competitiveness, and realizing the era of ten million tourists in Imsil.
The county announced on the 18th that the first supplementary budget of this year, totaling 567.9 billion KRW, was finally approved through the resolution of the 328th temporary session of the Imsil County Council.
The budget confirmed through the first supplementary budget increased by 41.8 billion KRW (7.93%) compared to the original budget of 526.1 billion KRW, with the general account increasing by 40.5 billion KRW to 534.7 billion KRW and the special account increasing by 1.3 billion KRW to 33.2 billion KRW.
With the final approval of this supplementary budget, which was organized with a focus on stabilizing residents' lives and strengthening competitiveness for regional development, various projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents are expected to gain momentum.
Looking at the major projects, first, to stabilize residents' lives, additional allocations were made for ▲ operation of Imsil Love Gift Certificates 1.8 billion KRW ▲ support for senior citizens' hairdressing and beauty expenses 150 million KRW ▲ senior job creation and social activity support 600 million KRW.
To improve residents' living conditions, ▲ Imsil public rental housing construction project 3.9 billion KRW ▲ Osu public rental housing construction project 3.0 billion KRW were allocated.
Additionally, to strengthen agricultural competitiveness and improve farm households' conditions, additional funds were allocated for ▲ facility horticulture ICT convergence expansion project 100 million KRW ▲ specialized item 6th industry project 600 million KRW ▲ Imsil rice delivery cost support project 140 million KRW ▲ strawberry seedling support project 100 million KRW.
Furthermore, to leap forward into the era of ten million tourists in Imsil, budgets were allocated for ▲ World Famous Dog Theme Land construction project 1.0 billion KRW ▲ Open Tourism Site construction project 1.0 billion KRW ▲ Imsil Cheese Theme Park function improvement project 1.5 billion KRW ▲ National Ecological Trail construction project 400 million KRW.
County Governor Shim Min said, “This supplementary budget was organized with the highest priority on the people's livelihood economy, residents' life stabilization, and a higher level of regional development. We will do our best to promptly execute the budget so that residents can feel the changes brought by the supplementary budget.”
