LG Uplus announced on the 18th that it will hold the ‘U+ Our Neighborhood Membership - Yongsan Hangang-daero Edition.’ This program partners with small business owners to offer benefits to its mobile customers. It will run for a total of 11 days until the 28th.
The Yongsan Hangang-daero Edition features a total of 31 stores located on Hangang-daero in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, including restaurants, cafes, and flower shops. Discounts range from 20% to 80%, along with free side menu items and one-plus-one (1+1) events. The list of partner stores, detailed event information, and the location of the event booth can be found on the dedicated U+ Our Neighborhood Membership website (uplusyongsan.com). Discount coupons can be downloaded from the ‘Coupon’ category within the ‘U+ Members’ app.
LG Uplus also set up an event booth near Yongsan Station. Customers who visit four partner stores and receive stamps from staff can visit the event booth to receive ‘2 CGV movie tickets.’ By entering through the entry forms available at the booth, participants have a chance to win prizes through a draw, including ▲ Xbox (1 winner) ▲ Galaxy Watch 5 (2 winners) ▲ De’Longhi electric kettle (5 winners) ▲ CGV Gold Class tickets (10 winners). The event booth also hosts a ‘Lucky Roulette Event’ where customers visiting between 12:00?14:00 and 17:30?19:00 can spin a roulette to randomly win one of the following: ‘CJ CheilJedang gift set,’ ‘Electronic Land 10% discount coupon,’ ‘Muneo X Fruits mug cup,’ or ‘Muneo character fan.’

Im Hye-kyung, LG Uplus’s Head of Billing and Partnership Products, said, “We created this U+ Our Neighborhood Membership program to serve as a bridge connecting small business owners and customers.” She added, “Starting with Yongsan, we plan to select regions where as many customers as possible can benefit and operate a second program in the second half of this year.”
