A Man in His 50s Arrested for Methamphetamine Use in Residential Area of Gangseo-gu
A man in his 50s was arrested by the police on suspicion of using methamphetamine in a residential area of Gangseo-gu.
According to the police on the 17th, the Seoul Gangseo Police Station apprehended a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, at around 9:35 a.m. the previous day in a residence in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Mr. A is suspected of using methamphetamine at his residence in Hwagok-dong at around 4 a.m. the previous day.
The police, who responded to a report, voluntarily accompanied Mr. A to the police station, where a preliminary drug test was conducted, resulting in a positive reaction.
Mr. A admitted to the charges and is cooperating with the investigation, so he was released to go home.
