Director Park Hoon-jung's 'Guigongja' to Release on June 21
The film 'Guigongja' is set to be released on June 21, announced distributor NEW on the 16th.
'Guigongja' is the new work of director Park Hoon-jung, who directed 'New World' (2013) and 'The Witch' (2018). The story depicts boxing athlete Marko, who frequents illegal boxing arenas in the Philippines, being pursued by various forces with different motives, including a mysterious man called Guigongja.
Rookie Kang Tae-joo, selected through a competitive process with a ratio of 1980 to 1, plays Marko, the boxer who suddenly becomes everyone's target, while Kim Seon-ho portrays Guigongja, who circles around Marko and wreaks havoc.

Additionally, Kim Kang-woo plays Han Isa, the second-generation chaebol client who persistently chases Marko, and Go Ara takes on the role of Yoon-joo, a mysterious character who repeatedly encounters Marko by chance.
