The Fair Trade Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Lee Jeong-seop), investigating KT Group's 'suspicion of preferentially allocating work,' is conducting raids on more than 10 locations including KT headquarters, affiliates, partner companies, and related offices on the 16th.

The prosecution is investigating allegations that former KT CEO Koo Hyun-mo manipulated quality evaluation criteria to favor KT Telecop, a security affiliate, by channeling work to the facility management company KDFS. Former CEO Koo was reported to the prosecution last March on charges including preferentially allocating work in this manner and providing illicit entertainment to outside directors.
