The business agreement ceremony took place on the 15th, attended by representatives of six Lotte affiliates and Seo Gang-seok, the head of Songpa District Office. In August 2021, Lotte began a water quality improvement project with Songpa District Office to provide Seokchon Lake, the only natural lake in Seoul, as a clean resting place for citizens. This year, the project expanded from the original three affiliates (Mulsan, Holdings, World) to six affiliates (Mulsan, Holdings, Department Store, Chilsung Beverage, Chemical, World).
Under this agreement, Lotte will support on-site tasks such as fundraising and other related matters for the water quality improvement project; Songpa District Office will provide administrative support and basic data for the project; the Green Future Foundation will assist with water quality monitoring and technical advice; and Jens will carry out the water quality improvement work.
