A building structure in the auditorium of an elementary school in Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, collapsed, injuring teachers and students during class.
According to the Jeollanam-do Fire Headquarters on the 12th, at around 12:21 PM that day, gypsum boards on the stage platform in the gymnasium auditorium of an elementary school in Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, fell down.
At the time, a physical education class was in progress in the auditorium, and 14 people, including teachers and students underneath, were injured by the falling finishing materials and were transported to the hospital.
All 14 were reported to have sustained minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
