Park Ju-min, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized President Yoon Seok-yeol's first anniversary in office on the 10th, saying, "It's been one year since his inauguration, but he is still blaming others." This remark was aimed at President Yoon's criticism of the previous Moon Jae-in administration during the Cabinet meeting held the day before.
In an interview with SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show' on the same day, Park said, "Blaming the previous administration affects the setting and implementation of policy goals," adding, "Ultimately, the people suffer the consequences. This should be restrained."
Regarding the issue of jeonse fraud, Park explained, "Many ruling party politicians and government officials blame the previous administration. However, if you recall last year, even after a considerable time had passed since the Yoon Seok-yeol government took office, warnings about the risks of reverse jeonse and empty jeonse were reported, yet the policy goal was set to 'fight the jeonse crisis.'" He continued, "So they were essentially fighting a straw man," and pointed out, "Because they blamed the previous administration, they misidentified their opponent. This is the general assessment of experts recently."
Park said, "Until recently, no support measures for jeonse victims were presented, but after three people made extreme choices, the government belatedly accepted the opposition parties' demands and introduced support measures."
Regarding President Yoon's remark the day before that "It was difficult to organize necessary systems due to obstruction by the giant opposition," Park retorted, "What has the government and ruling party done besides abolishing the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family?" He argued, "If they really wanted to make many improvements to the system, the government and ruling party should have proposed and pushed bills. But from our actual experience, almost no bills were proposed for policy or government organizational changes."

When the host asked, "Some in the ruling party claim that the giant opposition's legislative dominance and obstruction are severe," Park responded, "Has anything failed because of that?" He pointed out, "Regarding the giant opposition's legislative dominance, didn't the president exercise the veto power? The so-called legislative dominance by the giant opposition was related to the Grain Management Act last time, but the veto power was exercised."
