Jeonnam, 518 Pass the Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exams
Oldest Passer Aged 69, Average Pass Rate 80.7%
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced the '2023 1st Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Exam Passers' on the 9th.
A total of 642 candidates took the exam, and 518, or 80.7%, passed the final stage.
Among 64 elementary school candidates, 60 passed, showing a pass rate of 93.8%. For middle school, 105 out of 120 candidates passed, a rate of 87.5%. In the high school exam, taken by 458 candidates, 353 passed, representing 77.1%.
The oldest passers were a 63-year-old woman for elementary school, a 64-year-old woman for middle school, and a 69-year-old man for high school. The youngest passers were 11 years old for elementary school, and 12 years old for both middle and high school.
The list of passers and individual scores for this equivalency exam can be checked on the Provincial Office of Education website from the 9th until July 16th.

Pass certificates will be mailed individually for the convenience of candidates, and the equivalency exam certificate awarding ceremony will be held on the 25th.
