The evaluation consultation held on the 3rd was a visiting evaluation consultation linked with the Jeonnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (Director Jeong Young-jun), with 23 local agricultural specialty product production and processing companies, including tea (茶), participating.

A total of 17 domestic and Chinese MDs from 9 companies conducted 97 consultations, resulting in 26 decisions to enter major domestic distribution companies, 42 cases under active review, and 16 cases under review for entry after enhancement.

The export consultation held on the 4th involved 18 local agricultural specialty product production and processing companies and 23 buyers from 17 companies across 11 countries, both domestic and international.

Through this export consultation, Boseong-gun’s excellent agricultural specialty products were introduced to four countries: the United States, France, Singapore, and China.

Additionally, six companies including Dalius in France, Ace Industry and Good Morning Enterprise in the United States, and La Belle in Singapore signed agreements with nine companies such as Gangsannongwon, Dadorak, and Boseong Nonghyup to import agricultural and specialty processed products including Boseong tea, green tea coated gloves, green tea beverages, mixed grains, and Olbyeo rice products.

Kim Cheol-woo, the governor of Boseong-gun, said, “Although we are facing difficulties in pioneering export markets due to the global economic crisis and international political instability, local farmers and Boseong-gun are working together to export competitive agricultural and specialty products.” He added, “We will spare no effort in providing various policy supports for developing and promoting products that can succeed not only in overseas Korean markets but also in local markets.”

Meanwhile, in October 2022, Boseong-gun signed an agricultural specialty product export and cultural cooperation agreement with Dalius in France, and in November, participated in the Koredeci (Here is Korea) Festival to promote Boseong tea.
