GS Retail Surpasses 30 Million Won in Carbon Neutral Points from Electronic Receipts
Customers Receiving Benefits Increased More Than 6 Times↑
GS Retail announced on the 7th that the carbon neutrality points received by applying for electronic receipts instead of paper receipts at GS25 and GS The Fresh have surpassed 30 million won.
The carbon neutrality points system is a program launched by the Ministry of Environment in January last year to promote a culture of carbon-neutral living among the public by providing incentives based on green lifestyle activities in daily life. All citizens who wish to practice eco-friendly activities in their daily lives can participate, and by issuing electronic receipts (100 won), using tumblers or reusable cups (300 won), returning disposable cups (200 won), etc., individuals can receive up to 70,000 won worth of carbon neutrality points annually.
At GS Retail, customers need to sign up for GS Points and the carbon neutrality points system, then access the dedicated GS Retail app, Wooridongnae GS, and set it to receive only mobile receipts. The number of customers receiving carbon neutrality points from GS Retail has increased more than sixfold from September last year to March this year.
