TaylorMade "Selecting the Strongest Amateur Golfer"
3rd Mid-Amateur Championship Held
Top Players Selected Through 5 Qualifying Rounds

TaylorMade announced on the 4th that it will hold the 3rd TaylorMade Mid-Amateur Championship to select the strongest amateur golfer in Korea.
This tournament will proceed to the finals after five qualifying rounds. The 1st qualifier will be held on June 12 at Seongmunan CC in Gangwon Province. Registration is open until the 26th. Out of 240 participants, 58 will be selected. The 2nd qualifier will take place on July 4 at Seorabeol GC in Gyeongbuk Province. Ninety-two players will compete, and 16 will be selected. Registration is open from the 29th until June 19.
The 3rd qualifier will be held on August 21 at Baekje CC in Chungnam Province. Ninety-two players will compete, and 16 will advance to the finals. Registration is open from July 17 to August 11. The 4th qualifier will be held on September 18 at Shangri-La CC in Jeonbuk Province. Ninety-two players will compete, and 16 will pass the qualifier. Registration is open from August 14 to September 8. The final 5th qualifier will be held on September 25 at Elysian CC in Jeju. Out of 40 participants, 10 will be selected. Registration is available from September 11 to 20.
Qualifying participants are limited to pure amateur golfers aged 25 or older with a handicap of 18 or below. They must use at least 10 TaylorMade clubs along with balls, hats, and gloves. In the finals, players must use 14 clubs along with balls, gloves, and hats.
The 1st place winner in the qualifiers will receive a TaylorMade iron set, 2nd place a Stealth 2 driver, 3rd place a Stealth 2 fairway wood, 4th place a Stealth 2 rescue, and 5th place a TaylorMade stand bag. All participants will receive a dozen TaylorMade balls, gloves, hats, and a putter as prizes. Additionally, a 25% discount coupon for TaylorMade products (excluding some items) will be provided.
The winner of the finals will be awarded a championship trophy and a prize of 10 million KRW, along with the privilege to participate in the 2024 Korea Mid-Amateur Championship. Also, the top 3 will receive a full set of 14 TaylorMade tour clubs for 2024 and an initial tour bag, as well as qualification for the 2024 Amateur Team TaylorMade and two monthly discount coupons. Hats, balls, and gloves will be provided twice a month.
