About 300 registered disabled persons aged 7 and older in Gyeonggi-do participated in categories such as ▲IT device utilization (Information Search Contest, Word Crush Saga) ▲e-sports (KartRider Drift, FIFA Online 4, League of Legends) ▲KT’s ‘AI (Artificial Intelligence) Codini’. Forty-nine participants were honored with awards.
In particular, KT AI Codini was introduced as a pilot category starting from this competition. It is an AI education platform designed to help users easily understand AI coding principles by stacking blocks instead of traditional coding methods. Disabled students who took the course formed teams with special education teachers to create coding projects. Ha Ji-ho, a first-year student at Unjung High School who created the ‘LED Dice Game,’ won the grand prize. Lee Hyun-seung, a third-year student at Unjung High School who created the ‘AI Car,’ received the excellence award.
