Recruitment of Teams for the 18th Jeonnam 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest
Applications open until the 15th... Selected teams to participate in the September 'National Competition'
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 3rd that they are recruiting teams to participate in the "18th Jeonnam 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest" until the 15th.
At the Jeonnam 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest to be held on June 23, the grand prize teams (one from the kindergarten division and one from the elementary division) will earn the right to participate in the "24th National 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest" held at the Incheon Global Campus Auditorium in Songdo, Incheon, in September.
In the Jeonnam contest, teams of 15 to 30 members from kindergartens (including daycare centers) and elementary schools can participate.
A total of 20 teams will be recruited: 10 teams for the kindergarten division and 10 teams for the elementary division. The kindergarten division will perform firefighting children's songs, while the elementary division can participate with firefighting children's songs, cartoon theme songs, trot, K-Pop, or other free-choice songs centered on safety themes.

Park Won-guk, Head of the Response and Prevention Department, said, "The 119 Firefighting Children's Song Contest, where children sing songs themed on safety, will be a great opportunity to raise children's awareness of safety," and added, "We ask for the interest of many children."
