Providing Music Education Opportunities for Low-Income Children, Supporting Culture and Arts
Hwasun-gun is supporting the Dream Kiwoom Dream Orchestra project to provide low-income children with opportunities for classical music education, nurturing their dreams, and enhancing their happiness and self-esteem.
According to the county on the 3rd, the 'Artfor Center,' selected through a public contest, is recruiting new members year-round for the operation of the Dream Kiwoom Dream Orchestra, targeting low-income children residing in the area (3rd to 6th grade elementary school students).
The Artfor Center provides free rental of 12 instrument parts, including the violin, to facility children and low-income children, conducts regular practice sessions every Tuesday and Friday with specialized instructors for each part, and offers various musical activity opportunities such as regular concerts.

Jung Hae-soo, the representative of the Artfor Center, said, "I hope this orchestra, which many low-income children with relatively fewer cultural activity opportunities participate in, will be an opportunity for them to nurture dreams and hope, learn consideration for others beyond themselves, and truly understand the meaning of their role and harmony as members of the local community."
