BNK Financial Group Conducts Employee Campaign on 'ESG Practice Day'
BNK Financial Group is promoting the ‘ESG Practice Day’ campaign together with all employees to put ‘right finance’ into practice.
This campaign was prepared to share practical ESG implementation methods in daily life, such as reducing disposable products and not leaving food waste, and to encourage voluntary participation of employees in ESG management promoted at the group level.
BNK has designated the first and third Fridays of every month as ‘ESG Practice Day,’ conducting ‘Disposable Zero Day’ encouraging the use of tumblers at the in-house cafe, and ‘Food Waste Zero Day’ where no leftovers are left in the company cafeteria.
Employees participating in the campaign will be provided with free beverages such as coffee, and the number of monthly campaign events will be gradually expanded to promote wider participation.
BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Dae-in said, “I believe that right actions for practicing ESG in daily life will have a significant impact on solving environmental issues,” adding, “BNK will continue to carry out various activities to practice and spread ESG management promoted at the group level.”
