BPA Conducts 'Busanhang Labor-Management-Government Joint Safety Campaign'
Busan Port Authority (BPA) conducted the 'Busan Port Labor-Management-Government Joint Safety Campaign' on the 21st at the Jaseongdae Pier in Bukhang, together with related organizations and industry groups.
The joint campaign was attended by over 40 representatives and safety officials from the Busan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, Busan Port Stevedores Union, Busan Port Logistics Association, Busan Port Industry Association, and others.
The labor, management, and government sectors organized this campaign to establish a safety culture based on self-regulatory preventive systems at Busan Port by internalizing safety awareness, in connection with the government's 'Serious Accident Reduction Roadmap.'
After the campaign, representatives from labor, management, and government held a meeting to discuss cooperation measures to improve the safety management level of Busan Port.
BPA will also actively participate in the activities of the 'Busan Regional Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group,' composed of 30 related organizations and industry groups, and plans to strengthen related activities to establish a culture of voluntary compliance with safety rules at Busan Port.
