According to the business agreement, the two organizations agreed to establish a mutual cooperation system to provide financial support to small business owners and employees in the Geoje area who are experiencing difficulties in their livelihoods due to decreased sales caused by the economic downturn.
In particular, BNK Gyeongnam Bank decided to support a special loan totaling 2 billion KRW, which can be received at a low interest rate up to 10 million KRW per individual.
Individual business owners and employees of the relevant businesses in the Geoje area who wish to apply for the special loan can inquire in advance and then visit the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Geoje Corporate Finance Center, Geoje Branch, or Okpo Branch by the end of this year.
Mayor Park Jongwoo said, “We will do our best to provide direct assistance to small business owners who are facing management environment risks such as the triple crisis and rising energy burdens.”
