Smart Farm Industry Association Recruiting Trainees for 'ICT Company Employees' Specialized Course
The Korea Smart Farm Industry Association announced on the 31st that it plans to promote specialized technical training for current employees starting next month to enhance the ICT technical capabilities of smart farm company workers.
An association official stated, "Recently, due to the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution, ICT and AI-based data technologies are rapidly advancing," adding, "There is an increasing demand for strengthening the technical capabilities of domestic ICT companies."
Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries are promoting a specialized training project for employees of smart farm ICT companies. The Korea Smart Farm Industry Association, the entrusted operating organization of this project, plans to run a specialized course combining theoretical education and field training in a total of 11 sessions until November this year.
The curriculum consists of the Smart Agriculture CEO (Leader) Course (2 months, 40 hours), Smart Agriculture Basic Technology Course (2 months, 60 hours), 1st Generation Smart Agriculture Technology Utilization Course (3 months, 80 hours), Data Analysis Utilization Course (3 months, 80 hours), and Smart Agriculture Export Training Course (3 months, 40 hours).

An association official said, "We have worked hard to develop the curriculum to provide practical help in raising the innovative technical capabilities of employees in smart farm ICT companies," adding, "We plan to continue our efforts to contribute to enhancing the overall competitiveness of the agricultural smart farm industry sector."
