Yeonggwang-gun Recruits Eligible Recipients for Eco-Friendly Agricultural Product Packages for Capital Region Natives
Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jong-man) announced on the 28th that it is recruiting applicants for the Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project for residents from the Seoul metropolitan area.
This project provides eco-friendly agricultural product packages to residents from the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seoul and Gyeonggi, to promote hometown pride and expand the consumption of eco-friendly agricultural products through strengthened promotional activities.
Applications can be submitted to the Agricultural Distribution Division or to each eup/myeon office (via fax or email).
However, during the selection process, the eup/myeon office staff require consent to view the resident registration certificate and basic certificate. After being selected, applicants can use the service by registering as a member on the online integrated shopping mall.
If selected, applicants pay a self-contribution of 250,000 KRW and receive points worth 500,000 KRW, which can be used to purchase eco-friendly agricultural products until December 15 of the same year.
A county official stated, “The Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project for residents from the Seoul metropolitan area consists of eco-friendly agricultural products or processed foods made from eco-friendly raw materials,” adding, “It will provide a stable sales channel for eco-friendly farmers.”
