Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Operates Visiting Media School
On the 27th, the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced that it will operate the 'Visiting Media School' for 32 middle and high schools in the province from next month 5th to December 20th.
The 'Visiting Media School' involves professional instructors and writers visiting schools to strengthen students' media literacy skills through lectures on topics such as ▲critical and creative writing ▲understanding of non-texts.
In particular, vivid information about the life and role of journalists and writers as professionals is shared, and the program is conducted with practice-oriented education on site.

An official from the Office of Education stated, "Through this project, by directly supporting the composition of the instructor pool and instructor fees, it will help media education in small rural schools that have had difficulties inviting instructors."
