"That Time, That Era" New Shin Sang-ok Film Comes to Ulsan
Ulsan Museum, 'Culture Day' Movie Screening
On the 29th, 'Confession of a Female College Student' for 200 People on a First-Come, First-Served Basis
Ulsan Museum (Director Jo Gyuseong) will screen the movie "Confession of a Female College Student" at 2 PM on the 29th in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the museum to celebrate the March 'Culture Day.'
The March screening, "Confession of a Female College Student," is a melodrama directed by Shin Sang-ok in 1958, his first popular genre film, starring Choi Eun-hee, Kim Seungho, Yoo Gyesun, and Choi Hyun.
The film depicts Korean society at the time through the story of a successful woman during a socially and economically challenging period.
It was a box office success that helped director Shin Sang-ok establish his position and found a film company.
Admission is free, and up to 200 people can enter on a first-come, first-served basis starting 20 minutes before the screening without a reservation.

For April's Culture Day, Ulsan Museum plans to screen "Ttosuni," directed by Park Sang-ho in 1963.
