On the 23rd, Deoksu Sunim, the Chief Executive of the Cheontae Order of Korean Buddhism, made this request during the inauguration Dharma assembly held at Guinsa Temple in Danyang-gun, Chungbuk.

Everyone must take full responsibility for the tasks given, and since our goal is enlightenment, let us cultivate our minds and attain enlightenment."
Jongjeong (Supreme Patriarch) Doyong Sunim said, "If we nurture the Buddha Dharma well, we will be able to widely spread the faith in Avalokitesvara," and gave a Dharma talk, "I hope that the newly appointed Chief Executive Sunim will lead the administrative affairs of the order well."
The Cheontae Order announced that President Yoon Suk-yeol sent a congratulatory flower arrangement to Guinsa Temple, where the Chief Executive's office is located, to celebrate Deoksu Sunim's inauguration.

Deoksu Sunim was appointed as Chief Executive on the 18th after the General Assembly's plenary session decision, following the sudden resignation of former Chief Executive Muwon Sunim on the 16th due to health reasons.
