Gangnam Apartment Robber Disguised as Delivery Worker Steals 400 Million Won Worth of Valuables
A man in his 40s who disguised himself as a delivery driver and committed robbery at an apartment in Gangnam, Seoul, has been handed over to the prosecution.
On the 23rd, the Suseo Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested and sent Mr. A to prosecution on charges of special robbery for breaking into a high-rise apartment in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, in June 2021 with two acquaintances, threatening the homeowner with a weapon, and stealing luxury watches, precious metals, and other valuables worth approximately 430 million KRW.
According to the police, Mr. A and his accomplices deceived the homeowner by saying they had come to pick up a returned package and gained entry into the house.
Shortly after the incident, the police arrested two accomplices who committed the crime together and another accomplice who helped them escape, but the main suspect, Mr. A, was not caught and was placed on a wanted list.
