National City and Provincial Education Superintendents Join Hands to Attract the 2030 Busan World Expo
Superintendents of education from cities and provinces nationwide have joined hands to support Busan's bid for the 2030 World Expo.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 23rd that at the ‘89th National Council of Superintendents of Education General Assembly’ held at Jeonbuk National University International Convention Center, a joint resolution by superintendents from across the country was adopted to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo.
This joint resolution was proposed by Superintendent Ha Yun-su to support activities for the Busan World Expo bid, and superintendents nationwide actively participated.
On this day, the superintendents declared that all processes of cooperation and pooling wisdom to host the World Expo will instill pride as Korean citizens in our students, who are the future leaders.
The superintendents of education from cities and provinces nationwide are taking a group commemorative photo after adopting a joint resolution to host the 2030 Busan World Expo.

Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of Education of Busan, said, “The 2030 World Expo will be a great opportunity to propel Busan back to the center of South Korea,” adding, “We will gather the wholehearted support of the education family, including superintendents, to contribute to Busan’s Expo bid.”
