Uljin-gun Bukmyeon Community Security Council Shares Kimchi and Side Dishes with Low-Income Elderly Living Alone with Care and Heart
The Buk-myeon Community Security Council of Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk (co-chairmen Jeon Geuk-jung and Jeon Do-jung) held a 'Heartfelt Kimchi and Side Dish Sharing' event for underprivileged neighbors in the area on the 22nd.

View original imageThe kimchi and side dish sharing event is a project funded by Hanul Nuclear Power Plant, where members of the Buk-myeon Community Security Council and Buk-myeon Saemaeul Women's Association carefully prepared Korean beef bulgogi, seaweed soup, and other dishes. These were delivered by village welfare chiefs to 175 households of elderly living alone with physical difficulties and low-income families in the area.
Private Chairman Jeon Do-jung said, "I am glad that the Buk-myeon Community Security Council could share a little warmth with lonely and marginalized elderly neighbors."
