Agreement Among 7 Organizations to Collaborate for Mental Health Improvement

Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) strengthened the support system for citizens' mental health improvement by signing agreements with seven counseling centers in the area on the 17th.

According to the city, the agreement ceremony held at the public health center on that day was attended by Ma-eum Gamseong Counseling Center, Ma-eum Swim Psychological Counseling Center, Ma-eum Research Institute Dorandoran, Saemamgil Psychological Therapy Education Center, With You Psychological Counseling Research Institute, Lee Hyun-seo Child Development Center, and Friends Counseling Coaching Center.

Yeosu City signed an agreement with seven counseling centers in the area on the 17th to further strengthen the support system for improving citizens' mental health.

On that day, each institution agreed to mutually cooperate on ▲ sharing mental health projects ▲ establishing a linkage system for continuous management of high-risk mental health groups ▲ promoting and activating the use of mental health services within the local community.

A city official said, “As interest and importance in mental health have recently increased, we hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to enhance citizens' accessibility to various mental health services.”

Meanwhile, the Yeosu City Mental Health Welfare Center supports mental health treatment and examination costs for youth (ages 15 to 39), early-onset mental illness patients, and children and adolescents.
