"North Korea Nuclear Crisis, ROK-US-Japan Security Cooperation Is the Only Option"
"Radar, Strategic Assets, HUMINT Must Be Mobilized"
Moon Jae-in Administration's North Korea Policy Deemed a 'Complete Failure'
The People Power Party asserted that "security cooperation among South Korea, the United States, and Japan is the only option" to respond to North Korea's nuclear attacks.
Yoo Sang-beom, the chief spokesperson of the People Power Party, stated in a commentary on the 20th, "The three countries?South Korea, the United States, and Japan?must mobilize all resources such as each country's radar, strategic assets, and HUMINT to perfectly carry out everything from pinpointing the origin of North Korea's provocations to post-analysis." This came after it was reported that Kim Jong-un, Chairman of North Korea's State Affairs Commission, personally directed a 'comprehensive tactical exercise for nuclear retaliation' on the 18th and 19th, ordering the completion of nuclear attack readiness.

He criticized, "Obsessed with inter-Korean summits, they were busy giving everything the Kim Jong-un regime wanted, and especially after the September 19 inter-Korean military agreement, they neglected real combat training, endangering the nation's security. They even 'copied' North Korea's security logic verbatim when creating domestic laws."
He also pointed out, "In 2020, after the Democratic Party and the Moon Jae-in administration passed the 'Anti-North Korean Leaflet Act,' they reportedly sent explanations to foreign embassies in South Korea claiming that coronavirus could be introduced into North Korea through leaflets. This absurd claim by North Korea, lacking any medical basis, was directly included in our diplomatic documents."
