Rapid Response to Emergencies... Creating a Safe Civil Service Office
Shinan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) announced on the 20th that on the 17th, a joint mock drill for responding to malicious civil complaints was conducted at the Civil Service Department of the county office in collaboration with the Mokpo Police Station Aphae Precinct.

This training was organized to prepare for emergency situations such as verbal abuse and assault that may occur during the civil complaint response process, aiming to protect civil service officers in charge and visiting complainants, and to create a safe civil service office.
The county assumed a scenario where a complainant verbally abuses and assaults the officer during consultation, and the pre-organized emergency response team conducted a joint response drill with the police.

A county official stated, “To protect civil service officers handling malicious complaints, protective gear and security personnel were deployed,” adding, “We plan to install additional protective facilities as soon as possible and enact an ordinance to protect civil service officers.”
