Netflix to Release 'Queenmaker' Starring Kim Hee-ae and Moon So-ri on April 14
Online video service (OTT) Netflix announced on the 17th that it will release a new series, 'Queen Maker,' on April 14.
Starring actors Kim Hee-ae and Moon So-ri, 'Queen Maker' tells the story of Hwang Do-hee, a genius in image making who once controlled the strategic planning office of a large corporation, as she jumps into the election field to make Oh Kyung-sook, a human rights lawyer who has lived like a weed and is called the rhinoceros of justice, the mayor of Seoul.
Kim Hee-ae plays Hwang Do-hee, a former strategic planning officer of a large corporation, and Moon So-ri plays human rights lawyer Oh Kyung-sook. Hwang Do-hee recognizes Oh Kyung-sook's star quality with her instinctive sense of creating dramatic moments and her indiscriminate directness. Among candidates skilled in the show business of elections, she leads the campaign as the general director to make Oh Kyung-sook the queen.
'Queen Maker' is a work planned by writer Moon Ji-young since 2018, focusing on Hwang Do-hee, who entered politics to make a queen of the election field, and Oh Kyung-sook, who becomes the queen, hence the title.
