Busan City Hosts 'Busan Digital Dentistry Exhibition and Comprehensive Academic Conference'

Startup Promotion Hall Operation, National Institute of Dental Science Busan Attraction Symposium
Busan City will hold the "2023 Busan Digital Dentistry Exhibition and Comprehensive Academic Conference (BDEX)" at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2 on the 18th and 19th.
Hosted by the city and co-organized by the Dental Association and Busan Economic Promotion Agency, this event has established itself as a representative dentistry exhibition and academic conference that promotes products and opens sales channels for dental equipment companies based in Busan, as well as shares the latest trends in dental treatment technologies.
At the exhibition, 47 companies related to dental equipment will participate to promote their products and offer various promotions, while the academic lectures will share the latest dental technology information through 14 diverse topics.
In particular, this exhibition will operate a promotional hall for small dental startups in the Busan area to promote their products, and on the 18th at 3:30 PM, a symposium will be held to attract the National Institute of Dental Research to Busan.
Additionally, on the 19th, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the dissemination and exchange cooperation of digital dentistry new technologies and the latest dental industry will be signed between the Busan City Dental Association and the General Dentistry Association of Mongolia.
The city is promoting various support projects for fostering the dental industry, including ▲Digital Dentistry Commercialization Technology Support Project ▲Dental Technology Research Platform Construction Project ▲Digital Dentistry New Technology Education Support Project.

Mayor Park Hyung-jun stated, “Busan has many excellent talents due to the numerous dental-related departments in local universities, and the concentration of related companies provides sufficient conditions for the development of the dental industry,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen industry-academia cooperation in the dental field and expand opportunities to exchange technology and academics in the dental industry, like this event, to help Busan grow into a central city of digital dentistry.”
