A live bullet was found at Incheon International Airport, prompting the police to launch an investigation. Previously, live bullets were also found inside a passenger plane.
At around 4 p.m. on the 16th, the Incheon Airport Police Unit received a report that one live bullet was found at the departure hall on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 at Incheon Airport. It was reported that a janitor affiliated with a subsidiary of Incheon International Airport Corporation discovered the bullet while sorting recyclables after emptying a trash can in the 3rd floor departure hall.

The location where the bullet was found is an area accessible to anyone, including departing passengers. The police decided to request a detailed forensic examination from the National Forensic Service. Earlier, on the 10th, two pistol bullets were found on a Korean Air passenger plane departing from Incheon Airport to Manila, Philippines.
