Silla University Department of Food and Culinary Arts Opens Cooking Practice Room Equipped with Latest Equipment
On the 16th at 2 PM, the Department of Food and Culinary Arts at Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) held an opening ceremony for the new cooking practice room at the International Education Hall.
The cooking practice room was remodeled from a 390㎡ space previously used as a staff cafeteria to create a practical environment suitable for the department's curriculum. It consists of a cooking demonstration room, cooking practice room, bakery practice room, and food and beverage practice room.

Hwang Hyun-cheol, a student in the Department of Food and Culinary Arts, expressed satisfaction, saying, "I am very happy to gain hands-on experience in a practice room equipped with the latest equipment."
In particular, the cooking demonstration room was improved from the previous method where students stood to watch the professor’s cooking demonstration by installing a vertical shooting camera and a front monitor to enable more efficient classes.
