Refrigerated Cart 'Coco' Goes Abroad... hy's First Overseas Export to Cambodia
Distribution specialist company hy announced on the 14th that it will export the 'Refrigerated Cart Coco' to Cambodia. This is the first export case since its introduction in Korea.
hy signed a contract with the local distribution company ‘Penfirst Shopping’ and will deliver a total of 22 units of Coco to the company located in Phnom Penh. The export volume is expected to increase as the usage area expands.
This export was made to secure Penfirst Shopping's competitiveness in refrigerated delivery. Penfirst Shopping is preparing for online subscription delivery and on-site distribution sales of premium refrigerated products. They plan to build a short-distance refrigerated delivery platform by utilizing Coco's cold chain system. It will be used for the delivery of products requiring low-temperature management such as dairy products, fruits, and salads handled by chains within Cambodia.
The production of export carts is handled by the subsidiary hy Motors. Support programs for smooth operation are also provided, including cart driving field tests, operation safety, and repair manual training.

An hy official said, “With Coco’s first export, a symbol of fresh last-mile service, we have proven the excellence of the domestic cold chain system,” adding, “Since there is high overseas demand for refrigerated carts, the export volume is expected to increase further.”
