Exchange Recommends Lawyer Min Hong-gi as Chairman of KOSDAQ Market Committee
The Korea Exchange announced on the 14th that it has recommended Min Hong-gi, a 63-year-old lead attorney at Apex Law Firm, as the chairman of the KOSDAQ Market Committee.
The Korea Exchange KOSDAQ Market Committee held its 8th meeting that morning and recommended Attorney Min as chairman.
Candidate Min graduated from Korea University Law School, earned a master's degree from the same university's Graduate School of Law, and completed doctoral coursework. He has served as an advisory attorney for the Korea Federation of SMEs, a non-standing adjudicator at the Prime Minister's Tax Tribunal, and a mediator at the Seoul Central District Court.
The Exchange stated, "Candidate Min has extensive experience related to small and medium-sized enterprises and has served as chairman of the KOSDAQ Market Corporate Review Committee and as a member of the Market Surveillance Committee, demonstrating his expertise in the capital market," explaining the reason for the recommendation.

Candidate Min is expected to be appointed following the Korea Exchange's 18th regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for the 29th.
