Joining Hands to Support Quality Control in Food Manufacturing Industry
Namhae-gun Public Health Center and Namhae Garlic Research Institute in Gyeongnam signed a business agreement on the 13th to support quality control of local food manufacturing companies.
The "Food Manufacturing Company Quality Control Support Project" promoted by Namhae-gun Public Health Center is implemented for companies required to conduct mandatory self-quality inspections among food manufacturing companies. It aims to enhance food hygiene safety, strengthen company competitiveness, and revitalize food manufacturing.
Gyeongnam Namhae-gun Public Health Center and Namhae Garlic Research Institute signed a business agreement to support quality control for local food manufacturing companies.
View original imageNamhae-gun Public Health Center plans to promote quality improvement of food manufacturing companies by cooperating with Namhae Garlic Research Institute to support pre-inspections and provide production process improvement consulting based on inspection results.
The pre-standard inspection supports three test items suitable for the food type once for newly registered or reported businesses, and supports one test item twice for existing registered or reported businesses.
In addition, production process consulting will be provided twice per company for those who fail the pre-standard inspection.
Food manufacturing companies wishing to apply can visit the Hygiene Safety Team of the Health Administration Division at Namhae-gun Public Health Center to apply. For more details on quality control consulting for food manufacturing companies, please refer to the county office website or contact the Hygiene Safety Team of the Health Administration Division.
Namhae-gun Public Health Center plans to continuously support quality control of local companies through collaboration with Namhae Garlic Research Institute.

Gwak Gidu, director of Namhae-gun Public Health Center, said, "Through the Food Manufacturing Company Quality Control Support Project, we hope to prevent business losses and administrative sanctions caused by self-quality inspection failures for small-scale local food manufacturing companies in advance."
