Incheon City Supports Dormitory Rent for Small Business Workers... Up to 200,000 KRW per Person
Incheon City announced on the 12th that it will implement the 'Dormitory Rent Support Project for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Workers,' providing subsidies of up to 200,000 KRW per person per month to promote the livelihood stability of SME workers and alleviate labor shortages in companies.
When SMEs rent apartments, villas, one-room units, officetels, etc., and provide them as dormitories for workers, the city supports up to 5 workers per company with a maximum of 200,000 KRW per person per month.
Companies recognized as 'Incheon Job Creation Excellent Companies' and 'Good Workplace Root Companies' can receive support for up to 7 workers.
The city targets workers with less than 5 years of employment, requiring that at least one newly hired worker with less than 1 year of employment be included to promote new hiring by companies.
The application period starts from the 13th and continues until the budget is exhausted. Interested companies can apply through the Incheon SME Support Portal Biz OK.
