Teacher Arrested for Threatening Fellow Teacher with a Weapon at a High School in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul
The Yangcheon Police Station in Seoul announced on the 11th that they have apprehended and are investigating a male teacher in his 50s, Mr. A, who is currently employed, on charges of threatening a fellow teacher with a weapon (special intimidation) at a school.
According to the police, on the 10th at around 5:40 PM, Mr. A threatened a teacher in his 20s with a weapon in the vice principal's office of a high school in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, and then fled.
Police investigations revealed that Mr. A had requested to meet another teacher with whom he had a conflict, but after being refused, he took out a prepared weapon and committed the crime.
