Samsung Gwangju Plant Employees Donate Blood Donation Certificates to Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital
Employees of Samsung Electronics Gwangju Plant donated 1,000 blood donation certificates to Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital to practice sharing life.
On the 6th, Hwasun Chonnam National University Hospital held a blood donation certificate donation event in the hospital's 5th-floor reception room, attended by Hospital Director Jeong Yong-yeon and Samsung Electronics Gwangju Support Center Director Jeong Hyuk-jun, the hospital announced on the 8th.
The blood donation certificates donated by Samsung Electronics Gwangju Plant were collected by employees who voluntarily participated in the life-sharing blood donation event during their personal time.
Center Director Jeong Hyuk-jun said, “We were unable to conduct blood donation campaigns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but recently we have been able to come together again to practice sharing life,” adding, “We plan to continue carrying out various support projects that contribute to the local community.”

Hospital Director Jeong Yong-yeon stated, “The donated blood donation certificates will be used for emergency patients and vulnerable groups who are in difficult situations,” and added, “Our hospital will also strive to faithfully fulfill its role in serving the local community.”
