The Korea Communications Commission announced on the 8th the selection of 48 projects for this year's regional and small-scale broadcasting program production support.
The regional and small-scale broadcasting program production support project is a program that supports the production of excellent program proposals to strengthen the content competitiveness of regional and small-scale broadcasting. It supports the production of various programs, including the regionally focused category (regular and current affairs reporting) aimed at fostering regional public opinion and providing regionally tailored information, the competitiveness enhancement category (regular, special, pilot) to improve the competitiveness and diversity of regional broadcasting programs, and the new-type content category to raise interest in regional broadcasting on new platforms such as Over-The-Top (OTT) and mobile.

Regional cooperation programs produced in collaboration with local governments and related regional organizations were also selected.
