OB Beer announced on the 8th that it will conduct an internal campaign for its employees to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion in celebration of International Women's Day (March 8).
OB Beer planned the campaign to highlight the difference between "equity" and "equality," in line with the theme "Embrace Equity" announced by the International Women's Day organizing committee (IWD2023). Under the slogan "For a Fair Future," the company will hold an online seminar for employees and operate a photo zone.
The online seminar will cover topics such as ▲ efforts to create a gender-equal future throughout the beer manufacturing supply chain ▲ practicing genuine allyship (solidarity with oppressed or discriminated groups). Reflecting the commitment to embracing equity, a photo event will be held where participants pose in the official 2023 International Women's Day pose (hugging oneself to symbolize inclusion).
OB Beer, which participates annually in the International Women's Day campaign, strives to create a work environment where all members understand and respect each other based on the core values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2020, the company launched the "Diversity and Inclusion Committee" and operates "Diversity and Inclusion Month" every October.
