Port Authority Appoints O Seon-gyeong as CEO of Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management Co., Ltd.

Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, YGPA) announced on the 6th that it has appointed Oh Seon-gyeong, former Head of the Safety Headquarters at the Presidential Security Service, as the CEO of its subsidiary, Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management Co., Ltd.
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by YGPA in December 2017 to oversee security and facility management of the Yeosu and Gwangyang port facilities.

View original imageNewly appointed CEO Oh is a safety and security expert who served for 28 years at the Presidential Security Service, holding positions such as Counterterrorism Division Chief, Security Director, Protection Director, and Head of the Safety Headquarters.
President Park Seong-hyun stated, “In a changing environment with the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act and the Port Safety Special Act, we expect CEO Oh Seon-gyeong’s experience and expertise to greatly contribute to the development of Yeosu and Gwangyang ports and Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management.”
CEO Oh’s term, starting from the day of inauguration, is three years.
