Hampyeong-gun to Promote Support Program Providing Up to 200,000 KRW Monthly for Homeless Youth
Applications Accepted Until August 21... One Year of Support
Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 2nd that it will promote the 'Youth Monthly Rent Temporary Special Support Project' to alleviate the housing cost burden for young people.
This project provides support for up to 200,000 KRW per month for 12 months of rent to reduce the housing cost burden for young people experiencing economic difficulties.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 19 to 34 who live separately from their parents and are homeless residents living in housing with a lease deposit of 50 million KRW and monthly rent of 600,000 KRW or less.
Additionally, applicants must meet related requirements such as having a median income of 60% or less for independent youth households and 100% or less of the median income for the original household including parents.
However, those living in public rental housing or who have received housing cost reduction benefits from local governments are excluded.
The application period is until August 21, and eligibility can be checked in advance through the simulation calculation service on the My Home portal or the Bokjiro website.
