60s Man Arrested for Stabbing Cohabitant and Self-Harm While Drinking in Villa in Changwon
A man in his 60s who stabbed his cohabiting partner with a weapon after drinking alcohol, causing serious injuries, was arrested by the police.
According to the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency and Changwon Seobu Police Station on the 28th, Mr. A stabbed his 40-year-old cohabiting partner, Ms. B, twice with a weapon at a villa in Uichang-gu, Changwon City, at around 5:25 p.m. on the 27th, and then attempted self-harm.
At the time, Ms. B’s daughter, who was returning home, witnessed the incident and reported it to the police.
The police confiscated the weapon immediately upon arrival at the scene, and both individuals were given emergency treatment by the dispatched 119 paramedics before being transported to the hospital.
Mr. A is receiving treatment and is reported to be in stable condition, while Ms. B underwent surgery and is known to be in critical condition.
