Gyeongbuk Office of Education Donates 100 Million KRW for Earthquake Relief in Turkey and Syria
On the 27th, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education delivered 107.5 million won raised through the 'Fundraising Campaign to Help Earthquake Victims in T?rkiye and Syria' to the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korean Red Cross.
This fundraising campaign was initiated to assist the victims affected by the earthquake that occurred in the T?rkiye and Syria regions on the 6th. From the 10th to the 20th, a fundraising campaign was conducted targeting teachers, students, and parents throughout Gyeongbuk Province, raising a total of 107.5 million won.
The Gyeongbuk Office of Education is known to plan to continue the fundraising campaign with the Korean Red Cross until the end of this year, so the amount raised in the Gyeongbuk area is expected to increase further.
The funds delivered through the Korean Red Cross by the Office of Education will be used to provide essential daily necessities, relief for affected residents, and medical and health support for rescue and relief efforts for the earthquake victims in T?rkiye and Syria.
