Gumi Facilities Corporation Announces Open Recruitment for Chairman Candidates
As the term of Chaedong-ik, Director of Gumi Facilities Corporation, expires on March 31, Gumi Facilities Corporation has formed an Executive Recommendation Committee and begun related procedures for appointing a successor director.
On February 23, the Facilities Corporation held an Executive Recommendation Committee meeting to finalize the announcement for recruiting a director with expertise and management capabilities, and will accept applications from February 27 to March 10.
The eligibility criteria require candidates not to fall under the "Disqualification of Executives" as per Article 60 of the Local Public Enterprises Act, and to meet at least one of the following qualifications.
▲ A person with extensive knowledge and experience in public enterprise management as an executive and possessing CEO-level capabilities
▲ A person with more than 15 years of experience in public service or private sector, including at least 8 years in a related field
▲ A person holding a doctoral degree with more than 12 years of experience in public service or private sector, including at least 5 years in a related field
▲ A person with more than 3 years of experience as an executive or senior research fellow/associate professor or higher at national public institutions, local public enterprises, or private companies
▲ A person with experience in a Grade 4 or higher position in national or local government or an equivalent rank
◆ The Executive Recommendation Committee will conduct document screening and interviews based on objective procedures and standards prescribed by relevant laws and regulations, recommend two suitable candidates to the Mayor of Gumi, who will then select and appoint the final candidate.
