In Gangwon Yeongdong, heavy rain or snow will begin from late afternoon, and in the eastern coast of North Gyeongsang Province and the northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, heavy rain or snow will start from night. Jeju Island will experience rain until morning.
Expected snowfall amounts until the 25th are 5 to 15 cm in Gangwon Yeongdong, 3 to 8 cm in the northern eastern coast of North Gyeongsang, northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and 1 to 5 cm in the southern eastern coast of North Gyeongsang.
Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 15 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, and northern eastern coast of North Gyeongsang; around 5 mm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo; and less than 5 mm in the southern eastern coast of North Gyeongsang and Jeju Island.
Fog with visibility less than 1 km is expected in inland areas until the morning.
During the day, some areas may experience dust haze (haze).
As of 7 a.m. on this day, temperatures in major regions are Seoul 1.6°C, Incheon 0.8°C, Suwon -0.9°C, Chuncheon -4.2°C, Gangneung 2.4°C, Cheongju 1.8°C, Daejeon -1.2°C, Jeonju 0.3°C, Gwangju 3.4°C, Jeju 8.0°C, Daegu 5.3°C, Busan 7.2°C, Ulsan 4.8°C, Changwon 5.7°C, etc.
The forecasted daytime high temperatures range from 6 to 14°C.
Fine dust concentrations will be 'bad' in Seoul, southern Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Gwangju, North Jeolla, and Yeongnam regions, while other areas will see 'moderate' levels.
However, Incheon and northern Gyeonggi are expected to have temporarily 'bad' levels in the morning, and South Jeolla and Jeju regions in the afternoon.
From the afternoon, strong winds of 30 to 60 km/h will blow in the central East Sea offshore, and from night, in the southern offshore of Jeju Island, with waves reaching 2.0 to 4.0 meters, raising the possibility of a storm warning being issued.
Wave heights in the nearshore seas will be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the South Sea.
