Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Announces Call for Organizations to Participate in Single-Parent Family Welfare Support Project
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family will open applications for the '2023 Single-Parent Family Welfare Support Project' performing organizations from the 24th of this month until March 13th.
This project has been promoted since 2010 to improve the welfare of single-parent families and enhance social awareness, and any institution or organization that meets the support requirements can apply.
The application fields are △ Single-Parent Family Self-Reliance Support Program △ Awareness Improvement for Single-Parent Families, and participating organizations will be selected for each field.
The evaluation criteria comprehensively consider the appropriateness of the project purpose, validity of the project plan, expected effects, project execution capability, and budget adequacy.
Non-profit corporations, non-profit private organizations, social welfare corporations, etc., whose main purpose is to support single-parent family welfare, can participate, and applications can be submitted individually or as a consortium of organizations.
The support scale per project is around 10 million KRW, and if a consortium is formed, support of up to 20 million KRW will be provided.
The selection results will be announced in March through the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family website after the review by the judging committee, and the selected organizations will carry out the programs from the confirmation of the project plan until December.
