[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The DB Kim Junki Cultural Foundation held the '2023 DB Outstanding Talent Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony' on the 22nd at the DB Financial Center in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, awarding scholarship certificates to DB Outstanding Talent Scholars. A total of 140 university students received scholarship certificates on this day. They are scheduled to receive full tuition support for the next two years.

The DB Kim Junki Cultural Foundation was established in 1988 with private funds by Chairman Kim Junki, the founder of DB Group, based on the belief that "the future belongs to those who challenge with dreams and hope." To date, it has invested a total of 99 billion KRW in projects and awarded scholarships to over 5,700 university students. It has also hosted various academic events.
Meanwhile, the DB Kim Junki Cultural Foundation is promoting a scholarship project worth a total of 11 billion KRW this year. In addition to DB Outstanding Talent Scholars, it plans to select a total of about 400 students, including youth, as scholarship recipients. It will also strive to nurture outstanding talent through various academic events such as the DB Financial Economics Contest and the DB GAPS Investment Competition.
